Mark
Managing Director
Mark has over three decades of multi sector, international experience in the delivery of health, safety, wellbeing, and sustainable solutions and best practice globally. Mark has successfully operated within some of the most highly regulated sectors. A passionate rugby fan.
Martin
Senior Consultant
Martin has over two decades of health, safety, quality, and environmental experience, build up across many industry sectors. Martin is an audit, inspection, and management systems specialist. A passionate hockey fan.
Roxanne
Assistant
Roxanne is the glue that holds everything together, a dedicated and passionate assistant. Roxanne operates the back office and social media links etc. who is starting out on the magical journey that is health and safety. A passionate and dedicated netball fan.
Danny
Principal H&S Consultant
Danny started his career in live events and theatre, gaining an FDA in lighting design and a BA (hons) in Production Management before embarking on a career in safety, specialising in the entertainment sector, working with companies such as BBC, HBO and Lucas Films.
Charlie
Principal H&S Consultant
Charlie is ex-forces from the Royal Tank Regiment. He started his career as head rigger and project manager in theatre and film production, transitioning to senior safety consultant, looking after productions such as Lord of the Rings, Willow and His Dark Materials.
Our Ethos
Our Managing Director and Principal Consultant Mark Townsend has been operating with the safety, health, and environmental sector for over three decades. In that time he has held a myriad of positions up to and including global director of multi disciplinary multinational organisations for some of the world’s largest blue-chip companies.
Safety Hands Plus has been established very much on his own passions, beliefs, and experiences that have developed and honed over that significant period. Combined with Martin’s cross sector experience and Roxanne’s enthusiastic approach and experience with modern business techniques and technology, we have a strong ethos based on client’s needs.
